Laser Hair Removal Procedures

Laser hair removal is a relatively new procedure that involves permanently removing unwanted hair from your body. The effectiveness of the treatment can depend on where on your body you want hair removed, how thick and dark the hair is and how well your skin reacts to the lasers.

It can take several visits to achieve permanent removal. And in some cases, when permanent removal is not achieved, a reduction in the amount of hair will be achieved.

The cost for the procedure can be a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars and should only be done at a qualified laser hair removal clinic. There are things that can go wrong during the procedure and it is important for you to be in the proper hands to avoid any complications.

Laser Hair Removal

The weather is getting warmer. With spring and summer around the corner, are you ready to get laser hair removal?

The drawback to getting laser hair removal is that it might not be a permanent removal for you. It really depends on your skin color and hair type.

If you go for a laser hair removal consulation, be sure to ask the doctor to be honest about how permanent he/she thinks your hair removal will be. It may take several visits and cost a lot of money, so you are better off knowing all the facts before you start with laser hair removal.

Considering Laser Hair Removal?

Are you really considering getting laser hair removal? It can be a great alternative to shaving unwanted hair all the time. Just think, you will never have to shave again.

Of course, permanent hair removal is not always the case. Sometimes the most you can hope for is a reduction in hair. Depending on your skin color and hair type, the procedure can be more or less successful.

If you are considering laser hair removal, it is recommended that you go for at least two separate consulations at different clinics. Have a list of questions to ask at each appointment and be sure to write down the information so that you can compare clinics later.

Also, be sure to get a list of references. Be sure to call each one of the references and ask leading questions. It is also a good idea to check with the Better Business Bureau for any reports on the clinic.

Isn't it Ironic?

Hair Removal

Doesn't it seem a little ironic that we want to permanently remove some hair on our body (like our legs, bikini area, etc.) and that we also have to deal with hair loss on our scalp.

It sure seems like there should be a way to switch something around and make it all perfect. The gene that causes hair to grow on our legs, bikini area should be switched off and the gene that causes hair loss should be switched on.

Now, that would be a discovery!
